About these terms
Formline Web Design (“Formline,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is part of PostNet Spanaway, located at 22219 Mountain Hwy E Ste C, Spanaway, WA 98387, United States. By using our website or accepting a proposal from us, you agree to these terms. If a signed proposal or agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed document applies.
Our services
We provide website design, WordPress development, e-commerce, landing pages, local SEO, branding, and care and maintenance services. The exact scope of each project is set out in your written proposal.
Packages, quotes, and pricing
- Package prices on our website are starting prices in US dollars.
- Your fixed written quote sets the final price and scope for your project.
- The Silver package is available to service-based businesses only.
- Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it begins.
Payments
Payments are made in stages tied to the milestones in your proposal. Invoices are due on the date shown. We may pause work on overdue accounts until payment is received. Applicable sales tax is added where required by law.
Your responsibilities
- Provide content, images, logins, and feedback on time
- Name one person to give feedback and approvals
- Make sure you have the rights to any content you send us
- Review the preview site carefully before approving launch
Delays in content or feedback may change the project schedule.
Revisions
Each package includes the number of revision rounds stated in your proposal. Additional revisions can be added at our standard rate.
Ownership and intellectual property
When your project is paid in full, you own the final website design and the content created for you. We keep ownership of our general tools, code libraries, and know-how. Third-party themes, plugins, fonts, and images remain subject to their own licenses.
Unless you ask us not to, we may show your finished website in our portfolio.
Domain and hosting
Domain and hosting services, including our free 2-year offer, are covered by our Free Hosting Offer Terms.
Third-party services
Your website may rely on third-party services such as WordPress, plugins, payment processors, and Google tools. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or fees from those providers.
Warranties and limitation of liability
We perform our services with reasonable care and skill. Except as stated in these terms, our services are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, or sales results.
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data.
Cancellation and termination
Either party may end a project with written notice. Cancellation and refunds are handled under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Pierce County, Washington.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time you accept a proposal applies to that project.
